ID VERIFICATION DISCLAIMER

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Overview

Crewa requires all tradesmen to complete identity verification through our third-party provider Didit before accessing job features on the platform. This disclaimer explains the scope and limitations of our verification process.

2. What Verification Confirms

Our identity verification process confirms that:

  • The individual submitting the verification holds a government-issued identification document
  • The identification document appears authentic based on Didit's verification technology
  • The person submitting the ID appears to match the photo on the document

3. Limitations of Verification

Identity verification does NOT confirm or guarantee:

  • The quality, skill level, or professional competence of a tradesman
  • That a tradesman holds any particular license, certification, or insurance
  • That a tradesman has no criminal history beyond what ID verification reveals
  • That the verified individual will perform work safely, legally, or to any particular standard
  • That the verified individual is the same person who will physically show up to a job

4. User Responsibility

Property owners are encouraged to exercise their own due diligence when hiring tradesmen, including requesting proof of relevant licenses and insurance, reading reviews from previous jobs, and communicating directly to assess suitability before confirming a job. The verified badge indicates identity confirmation only, not a professional endorsement by Crewa.

5. Third-Party Provider

Identity verification is processed by Didit. Crewa does not store copies of government ID documents. The verification result received by Crewa is a confirmation status only. For questions about how Didit handles your data, please review Didit's privacy policy directly.

6. Limitation of Liability

Crewa is not liable for any damages, losses, or harm resulting from reliance on the verified status of any user. The verified badge is an informational indicator only and does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement by Crewa of any tradesman's services, character, or conduct.
